
Ms. Ganigar Chen
Ganigar Chen is the Vice President of the National Science Museum, Thailand. She has background in Biochemistry and Ph.D. in Lifelong Education. She has been working in informal science education and science communication for more than 20 years and long experiences in international partnership among global science museum network.
Dr. Chen has a leading role in organizing several nation events related to science such as the Thailand National Science and Technology Fair, which is one of the largest science festivals in the region and she works closely with science festival network collaboration in other countries. She also works on international projects in citizen science and science enculturation including on risk communication, science communication on health issues, science literacy, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and many other topics.
Dr.Chen is now an active executive committee member of The Science Society of Thailand Under the Patronage of His Majesty the King working on STEM education and public science literacy. Also, she is an executive committee member of Asia Pacific Network of Science and Technology Centres (ASPAC) and works on promoting collaboration in STEM/STEAM exchange education programs, museum management, and exhibition development program in the region.
