Three Online Science Seminars of the 4th Belt and Road Teenager Maker Camp and Teacher Workshop Was Held Successfully

On October 21, three online science seminars of the 4th Belt and Road Teenager Maker Camp and Teacher Workshop was held successfully, which attracted teachers and students from nearly 20 countries and regions. In the seminars, experts and scholars made detailed interpretations of the themed courses such as health education, engineering design and transportation, etc., which were offered by the organizer, and teachers and students held heated discussions on scientific issues of common interest.

The 4th Belt and Road Teenager Maker Camp and Teacher Workshop was co-sponsored by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China (MOST), and Chongqing Municipal People's Government. This event aimed to establish an international platform for scientific exploration and cultural exchange for teachers and students from countries along the Belt and Road. Given the current condition of the normalization of COVID-19 prevention and control efforts, this year’s event was held with a method of combing the online and offline activities. Since the registration opening in early October, it has attracted more than 1200 teachers and students from 43 countries, regions and international organizations, over 900 of which are the overseas participants.

According to the schedule, there is another 8 science seminars in late October, which will continue to create a good atmosphere for cross-cultural interaction and communication for teachers and students from countries along the Belt and Road.
