Dear teachers and students, welcome to the Final Task section of the 6th Belt and Road Teenager Maker Camp & Teacher Workshop. We offer three thematic courses this year: “Sustainable Transportation”, “Intelligent Vehicle”, and “Green Campus”.

The Final Task is a must-complete task. Students have to work in a team, choose a thematic course for leaning, and then submit their challenge work to participate in the award evaluation and obtain a certificate.

Please familiarize yourself with the following procedures on how to upload the Final Task.

1. On the home page, click Science Learning and Tasks, and select “Final Task Gallery and Voting” in the drop-down menu to enter the Results Upload page.

2. After entering the page, click “Upload Works”, and the system will need to verify your identify.

3. Select the team code, and the system will automatically show the thematic course, team members and country/region corresponding to the team code.

Note: Each team can only upload one work. After any member of the team uploads his/her work, it will be synchronized to all member systems.

4. Fill in the name of the work, select the team according to the age group, such as 12-15 years old (middle school), 16-18 years old (high school), and fill in the description of the work.

5. There are three thematic courses for the Final Task: “Green Campus”, “Intelligent Vehicle”, and “Sustainable Transportation”. Please read below the specific requirement:

5.1 Green Campus

Video cover requirement: 

File format: PDF or JPG

File size: within 2MB

Design report requirement:

File format: PDF

File size: within 20 MB

Content: originality statement, model design background, model design ideas, model design highlights, etc.

Requirement for existing campus map and the design drawing for campus renovation:

File format: PDF or JPG

File size: within 2MB

Task explanation video requirement:

Format: AVI, MOV or MP4

Size: within 500MB

Content: Record a sand plate demonstration video that explains the design concept, the areas and purposes of the renovation, and how these renovations reflect the concept of an environmentally friendly and people-friendly green campus. Use a creative approach to explain the design in the video.

5.2 Intelligent Vehicle

E-map requirement:

Demo video requirement:

Format: AVI, MOV or MP4

Size: within 500MB

File content: Demonstration video

Requirement for work description document: 

File format: PDF 

File size: within 20MB

Content of the work: Introduce the function and design ideas of the work.

Program file requirement:

File format: MIX

File size: 1MB or less

5.3 Sustainable Transportation

Video cover requirement: 

File format: JPG, JPEG or PNG

File size: within 2MB

Design drawing requirement:

File format: PDF or JPG

File size: within 2MB

Drawing result requirement:

File format: PDF or JPG

File size: within 2MB

Creation report requirement: 

File format: PDF

File size: within 20MB

File content: records of the creation process of the work, mainly including the name of the work, functional description, creation background, design ideas, overall design diagram, structural design, materials of the work, brief description of the production process, scientific principles used, brief description of key technologies, application value in real life, etc. It can also include the overall design plan and iterations, solutions to problems encountered in model building, etc.

Requirement for task explanation video:

Duration: no longer than 10 minutes

Format: AVI, MOV or MP4

Size: within 500MB

Content elements: self-introduction or introduction of the team, brief documentation of the research process, design proposal and the creation process, the structure and function of the work, self-evaluation of the task, etc.

Please read carefully the instructions of the Final Task for your chosen course and follow the requirements for results uploading. The content to be uploaded may vary depending on the course requirements.

6. After filling in all the information, please check carefully and click the “submit” button after confirming that there are no errors. After the work is approved, it will be displayed on the official website, and you can invite friends and relatives to vote for your works. One IP address can only vote for 10 works each day, each work can receive at most 1 vote from 1 IP address each day.
